Science expo

On Tuesday all the grade sixes were getting ready for the science expo. My task topic was soil erosion and how we can prevent it. I wanted to do my science expo experiment on something that could change the way people think of the environment. So I did research and I saw soil erosion,I decided to investigate more. I choose to work on my own so that I can be dependent on myself and know all the information about my topic. I felt like the soil and vegetation of my task went very well and I loved the way it turned out in the end. I didn't have anything particular that had failed and I feel like it was a great success. I loved my poster,even though I had forgotten to put my name on it, I still loved the outcome. I have to say that my favorite part of the science expo was setting up and doing the experiment for my friends. I was very nervous as this was my first expo and I wasn't sure what to expect. I feel like we were prepared and I was really exited and nervous.. 

The XBox

Hi everyone I have put together a story poem I am sure you guys will like and this is how it goes:

Jerry loved his Xbox 

He played it night and day.

His mom didn't like the Xbox 

But all Jerry did was play.

His favorite game was Call of Duty 

He beat his friends high score

But he played the game so much

He became quite a bore 

He got a fast car game 

Well. You guessed it. He finished that one too.

He got pale from siting on the couch all day.

So get out in the sun or it will happen to you.

Jerry finished every game in the gaming shop.

He thought "why don't I make my own game?"

But when he started it gave him quite a shock.

ZAP!! Went Jerry in his video game.

From that day forward he will never be the same.

People ask me all the time.

"Why and how do you know all this ?"

I simply wag my tail in the air and give them a giant LICK

I am Jerrys BFF I sat there on the couch.

I pretend that i am sleeping or watching Jerry play.

I just love Jerry up till this day.

I love to play with him on the XBox

goals

1.Why is it so important to set goals?

It is highly unlikely that we'll achieve anything meaningful without goals.

2.What is a SMARRT goal?

A SMARRT goal is a Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Reviewable Timely goal.

3. Give an example of a SMARRT goal and a silly goal. 

SMARRT: I want to do a 5 k run by next week Sunday. 

Silly goal: I want to ride and discover a unicorn by next week Sunday.

4. Share one or two goals you have.

1. To get the Mathletics trophy in the year.

2.To get my certificate for the leadership program at the end of the year.  

My Grade 6 Experience

Grade 6 is so much fun.I love my friends to. I love my new school. I love the teachers they are all really nice. Being in grade 6 is really fun. My favorite memory is when all of us went to the beach and we were swimming in the waves. Grade 6 is the best. I thought we were going to have a lot more homework though. I cant wait for camp it will be really fun and I am so exited to make more memories in Elkanah House.
